Information for Exhibitors
General Conditions concerning Organisations in Victoria Square and New Street, Sunday June 09 2002
Opening Times - The event is open to the general public between 11 am and 5 pm
Setting up of stand - All Stands need to be set up by 10.30 am. Vehicles may be brought on to the square New Street between 9 am and 10.30 am if they show a valid pass.
Restocking - There will be no vehicle movement on the square while the event is open to the public.
Directions -All exhibitors need to comply with any direction given by the event organiser or the health and safty officier or their delegated representative.
Power Supply - Mains power is available on the square, price for connection available on request, no private generated supplies are allowed.
Security - All exhibitors are responsible for the security of their own equipment and belongings together with any necessary insurance.
Health and Safty at Work Act - Exhibitors are reminded that they are responsible for the observance by themselves, their employees and their contractors of the health and safty at work act 1974 and in the relevant statutory provisions covering all safty regulations. In particular exhibitors must ensure that all all displays and exhibits are set up in a safe and secure manner.
Fire Precautions - Any exhibitor having any equipment (including electrical) likely to cause a fire hazard must provide a fire blanket and suitable fire extinguishers located on the square and in New Street on the day.
There will be a safty inspection on the day and the decisions of the event organisor will be final.
